Aga Khan Academy Dhaka

The Dhaka edition of Connecting Creativity marks a major milestone in the continuing worldwide book-launch journey of the Rizzoli New York monograph Rafiq Azam: Old Dhaka–New Story: Architecture in Bangladesh. The publication explores how architecture can bring together nature, ecology, economy, social capital, memory, and culture through a distinctive synthesis of organic philosophies and contemporary design practice.

Following successful launches and architectural dialogues at the Sydney Opera House, International House of Japan in Tokyo, and across Colombo, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Pune, Yogyakarta in Indonesia, Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia, Jaipur, Valencia in Spain, and Tsinghua University in Beijing, China, the journey now returns to Dhaka—where many of the ideas, memories, and architectural narratives at the heart of the monograph originated.

Entry is permitted only upon presentation of the valid event ticket/registration confirmation at the entrance.
