EDNUB FUTSAL MANIA 2026
A Departmental Futsal Tournament Organized by EDNUB Sports Club, Department of English, Northern University Bangladesh
EDNUB Futsal Mania 2026 is a departmental 6-a-side futsal tournament organized exclusively for the students of  Department of English, Northern University Bangladesh (NUB).
The tournament is designed to bring together students through football, teamwork, sportsmanship, and healthy competition. It provides an opportunity for students to form teams, compete on the court, and represent the Department of English.

PARTICIPATION & TEAM FORMATION

• The tournament is exclusively for students of the Department of English, Northern University Bangladesh.

• Students from different semesters may participate and form teams.

• A single semester may have one or more teams participating in the tournament.

• Every participating team must have a unique team name.

• Every team must have its own team jersey. All players of a team are required to wear their designated team jersey during their matches.

• Every team must have a designated Team Captain.

• All team members are expected to follow the instructions and leadership of their respective Team Captain during the tournament.

• The Team Captain will be the primary representative of the team and will communicate with the tournament officials regarding team-related matters.

• No outside player is permitted to participate. Every player must be a current student of the Department of English, Northern University Bangladesh.

• Player information must be submitted accurately according to the respective University Student ID. The tournament authority may request student identification for verification.

TOURNAMENT VENUE: Metroplex Sporting, 300-Foot Road, Khilkhet (Next to Ashiyan Medical College), Dhaka

TOURNAMENT FORMAT

The tournament will be conducted in a 6-a-side format.

The competition will begin with a Group Stage, followed by the subsequent stages of the tournament according to the qualification structure and official tournament schedule.

In the Group Stage:

• A win earns 3 points.

• A draw earns 1 point.

• A loss earns 0 points.

REGISTRATION GUIDELINES

• Only the Team Captain is required to complete and submit the registration form on behalf of the team.

• All player information must be provided accurately according to the players' University Student IDs.

• The Team Captain is responsible for ensuring that all submitted player information is accurate and complete.

• The Team Captains will also be contacted by phone regarding the payment process and other necessary registration information.

The registration fee and payment system will be communicated to the Team Captains after successful registration.
Detailed payment instructions will be sent via email, and the Team Captains will also be contacted by phone for confirmation and necessary guidance.

Tournament Fixture
The official tournament fixture will be published on the official EDNUB Sports Club page.
Once the fixture is published, the Team Captains will also be informed directly regarding their team's match schedule and related information.
